Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.
Each week they will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers over at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join.
This week’s topic is: Top Ten Authors in X-Genre.
Considering my love of all things YA it’s probably no surprise that my top ten this Tuesday are young adult authors – both contemporary and fantasy.
1. Sarah Dessen
4. Ally Carter
5. Meg Cabot
7. J.K. Rowling
10. Richelle Mead
There are my top ten YA authors. Most of the specialize in fantasy/paranormal books but I love all the authors on this list for many reasons and all of them are MUST buys for me whenever they release a new book.
Oh Ally Carter and Meg Cabot! They’re both fantastic! Of course, all of these writers are, but I really love them both! Great list!
I share some similar faves off your list. Check out my Top 10.

Great list. You have some amazing authors here. I’ve tried them all except David Levithan.
Great list! I recently got into contemporaries, so I still have to try a bunch of those. Here is my TTT.

Meg Cabot, Meg Cabot, Meg Cabot. I love her!!! I have been meaning to read Jellicoe Road by Marchetta forever. I really need to get on that.
Here’s my TTT
I can definitely recommend anything by Melina Marchetta. She’s one of my favourite Aussie authors and I have adored every novel she’s published. Thanks for stopping by 🙂
J.K Rowling! 😀 *waves with flags*
TTT fairytales authors @thedailyprophecy.

First off I want to say superb blog! I had a quick question
which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was
curious to find out how you center yourself
and clear your head before writing. I’ve had difficulty clearing my
mind in getting my ideas out there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the
first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin.
Any suggestions or hints? Kudos!
